Intro to EcoTherapy for Garden Educators

May 22nd, 2017 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Disconnection from our ecosystems creates depression, stress, anxiety, as we are genetically and fundamentally in relationship with our environment. Ecotherapy offers guided support to deepen the bond we all have with the Earth. This practice allows an individual to grow toward a natural state of being: seamlessly linked to the world around us. Ecotherapy addresses the broad scope of healing potential for body, mind and spirit. Projects such as community and school gardens have more benefits than a healthy food supply and ecotherapy is one path to full utilization of these spaces. In this workshop, you will learn how to more deeply connect to nature from your current environment and to assist those you work with in reforming a bond with their inner selves through wellness and connection with Earth.

Please contact our Certified Ecotherapist, Katie Hilbert at kathryn.e.hilbert@gmail.com to register.
